Early morning fire devastates Warwick apartment complex, displaces multiple

A devastating fire in Warwick Township has displaced multiple people after burning through apartments at the Newport Commons Sunday morning.

The fire broke out around 4:30am in the 300 block of Creekside Lane, police say.

Firefighters arrived to find an out of control fire with flames billowing through the roof of the building.

Fire crews are still on scene working to extinguish the flames. Officials say no injuries were reported in the fire, and all residents have been accounted for.

It is unclear just exactly how many people were displaced as a result of the fire.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is currently investigating a cause.
