East Memphis home shot up during birthday party: MPD
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A birthday party held in East Memphis was cut short after suspects fired shots into the house the gathering was taking place in, Memphis Police say.
Officers responded at 6:55 p.m. Sunday to a shooting in the 4800 block of Flamingo Road. When they arrived, they saw the front of the residence was shot multiple times.
Officers found six victims inside the residence who were not injured.
All of the victims told officers that they were celebrating one of the victim's birthdays when shots started being fired from outside.

They also said they did not know who shot at them or why.
Officers spoke with a complainant who said that she heard several shots being fired and saw multiple men running from the residence and leaving in a silver SUV.
Police say the complainant had video surveillance that captured some of the incident.
Officers found shell casings, bullet fragments in the street and live rounds inside the residence.
