Eight most expensive homes sold in Duncannon, Sept. 2-22

A house that sold for $394,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Duncannon between Sep. 2 and Sep. 22.

In total, eight residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past three weeks, with an average price of $289,594. The average price per square foot was $172.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded from the week of September 2 to the week of Sep. 22 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

A sale has been finalized for the single-family home at 28 Paradise Road in Wheatfield Township. The price was $190,000 and the new owners took over the house in September. The house was built in 1965 and the living area totals 1,200 square feet. The price per square foot ended up at $158. The deal was finalized on Sep. 5.

The sale of the single family residence at 30 Petersburg Lane in Penn Township has been finalized. The price was $206,000, and the new owners took over the house in August. The house was built in 1998 and has a living area of 1,500 square feet. The price per square foot was $137. The deal was finalized on Aug. 27.

The sale of the single-family residence at 12 Locust Street, Duncannon, has been finalized. The price was $230,000, and the house changed hands in September. The house was built in 1980 and has a living area of 2,620 square feet. The price per square foot was $88. The deal was finalized on Sep. 10.

The 1,173 square-foot detached house at 39 Amity Road, Watts Township, has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in September and the total purchase price was $311,250, $265 per square foot. The house was built in 1970. The deal was finalized on Sep. 9.
