Election Results: Public Measure WA for Lawton–Bronson School
LAWTON, Iowa ( KCAU ) — Some Woodbury County residents will be voting on a $17M bond for the Lawton–Bronson Community School District .
If passed, it will allow the school district to build a brand-new gymnasium with 1,200 seats, a larger wrestling room, and two more classrooms. The bond needs a supermajority, or 60 percent, of voters to pass and would result in an increase in the tax levy rate from $3.01 to a total of $4.05 per $1,000.
