Election Results: SD 45 for Randolph Public Schools bond measure
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Voters in the Randolph school district will be deciding on a $9.75 million school bond to help the school tackle facility needs for both the aging elementary and high school.
The school buildings were built around 1965, so the $9.75 million would go towards several projects, including building a modern career and technical education building to replace the aging agriculture building, as well as a secure vestibule at the elementary school.
If SD 45 passes, it would provide Randolph Public School with $9.75 million through a projected tax rate increase of 10.5 cents per $100 of property valuation.
The school district will include votes from Cedar, Pierce, and Wayne counties, so votes from both counties will need to be added together. Polls in Nebraska close at 8 p.m. CT, after which, votes will start being counted. Come back here for the latest results.
