Nearly 50 teens Friday evening ransacked and stole merchandise from a 7-Eleven store near Beverly Hills that was also ransacked on Aug. 9.

The crime occurred around 7:25 p.m. Friday in the 8500 block of Olympic Boulevard, near La Cienega Boulevard, a Los Angeles Police Department officer who declined to give his first name told City News Service.

According to the LAPD, the juvenile thieves stole cartons of cigarettes, drinks and assorted merchandise before fleeing the store on bicycles. They ranged in age between 12 to 15 years old.

KCAL 9 reported the suspects climbed onto counters, pushed shelves onto the floor and threw items around the store.

On Aug. 9, around 50 teens stole merchandise from the same store and again fled on bicycles. A week later, two 7-Eleven stores in Hollywood — one at Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue and the second in the 5700 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, near Western Avenue — were robbed by around 25 suspects, who police said were boys and men in their teens or early 20s.
