ENC teams compete in third round of state boys soccer playoffs

SNOW HILL, N.C. (WNCT) — Several boys soccer teams across Eastern N.C. were back in action in the third round of the state playoffs Thursday night.

Two of them, Greene Central and Washington met up against each other. It was the Rams that got the better of the Pam Pack in a 2-0 victory.

James Kenan took on Seaforth and Wallace-Rose Hill matched up against Southeast Alamance, all in the 2A bracket. The Bulldogs were eliminated 2-1 by Southeast Alamance.

Southeast Alamance will be the next opponent for Greene Central Saturday.

In the 3A bracket, Jacksonville met First Flight with First Flight getting the 2-1 win. J.H. Rose played at Southern Nash and fell 5-4 in a high-scoring battle and Dixon was blown out 7-0 by Western Alamance.
