In 2015, Honolulu Coffee's flagship store was born from the company's greatest passion: to share the farm-to-cup Kona coffee experience. Standing at an expansive 9,000 square feet, the Experience Center was known to be a hotspot for any coffee enthusiast. From morning coffee runs, to a Kona coffee and merchandise gift shop, and an in-depth self-guided tour of the mighty coffee cherry journey. Although the doors are closing, this decision paves the way for an exciting new chapter in Honolulu Coffee's journey.

The next phase of Honolulu Coffee will focus on a new and improved facility dedicated to artisan bakery and cafe offerings. The new location, situated at 2643 S. King Street—just a short distance from the Experience Center—will open its doors to the public in early 2025. This new space will feature outdoor seating and ample street parking, providing an even more welcoming atmosphere for their loyal customers and visitors.

"As we bid Aloha to the Experience Center, we look forward to the next chapter just down the street. Though our address may change, our commitment to serving you the finest Kona coffee and housemade bakery items remains as strong as ever," says Tyler Zimmer, Honolulu Coffee's Co-Owner and President. "Mahalo nui loa for the support over the years, we look forward to welcoming you soon on King Street! A hui hou!"

This new facility will continue to highlight Honolulu Coffee's commitment to sourcing beans from their Kona coffee farm, roasting it fresh in Honolulu, and brewing with Aloha. A refreshed menu will emphasize the business's expanding artisan bakery selection, crafted to elevate the ultimate Kona coffee experience.

As this closure only impacts the Experience Center, customers can continue to redeem gift cards and loyalty points at any of Honolulu Coffee's locations on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.

Chris also got to try some of their new fall menu including the pumpkin haupia latte, apple spiced bread, and the salty savory Elote scone.
