Eva Mendes 'doesn't know' if she'll act again

Eva Mendes "doesn't know" if she'll ever return to acting.

The 50-year-old actress — who has Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7, with husband Ryan Gosling — hasn't appeared in a movie since she starred in her spouse's 2014 directorial debut, "Lost River," and feels like she went out on a "high" so it would take a really "interesting" role to tempt her back.

Asked if she'd return to Hollywood, Mendes told "Good Morning America": "I don't know. If there's interesting roles. I left at a time where, 10 years ago, I kind of felt like I did it, you know, I just worked with Ryan Gosling. He's like the best. It was such a high off my career to work with him and what we created together that I was like, this is a good time to 'Seinfeld' it and just walk out. So, who knows?"

The "Other Guys" actress recently insisted it was a "no-brainer" for her to step back from acting to focus on raising her daughters and other pursuits.

She told "Today" in March: "It was like a no-brainer. I'm so lucky, and I was like, if I could have this time with my children — and I still work, I just didn't act, because acting takes you on location. It takes you away."

Zayn announces first solo tour of his career

The wait is over for Zayn fans.

On Wednesday, the singer announced that for the very first time in his solo career, he'll be heading out on his own tour this fall. The "Stairway to the Sky" tour, produced by AEG and SJM, includes 11 dates in the U.K. and the U.S. It is scheduled to begin Oct. 23 in San Francisco, making stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., before wrapping the North American leg on Nov. 2 in New York City.

Zayn will be performing in support of "Room Under the Stairs," his long-awaited fourth studio album released earlier this year (and his first on new label Mercury Records). The project was co-produced with Grammy winner Dave Cobb, with Zayn describing the album as an opportunity "for the listener to get more insight on me personally as a human being — my ambitions, my fears."

Zayn recently performed for the first time since 2016 for an intimate one-night-only gig and delivered his first television appearance in eight years singing "Alienated" — the second single from "Room" — on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." He returned to the show Tuesday night to tease the tour announcement.
