Escanaba road closed for a week for paving project

ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - Drivers in Escanaba should be aware of a scheduled road closure for paving work. Starting Wednesday through Oct. 22, 5th Ave. S. between 26th and 32nd Streets will be closed for pulverizing and paving work. Access to side streets will remain available, but 5th Ave. S. itself will be fully closed until the project is complete. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area, seek alternative routes, and plan for possible delays. Parking along this section of 5th Ave. S. will also be restricted.
