ugene P. Hart Sr., 75, of Williamsport, died Saturday at his home.



Born March 20, 1925, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Matthew and
Agnes (Early) Hart.

He was a graduate of Hanover Township High School and attended Wilkes
College.

He worked for AT&T.

He was a member of the Donegal Society, Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Margaret M. Hefferman; sons,
Eugene P. Jr., Pittston; John P., Hamilton, Ohio; and Thomas J., South
Williamsport; daughter, Michele A. Frey, Portage, Mich.; sister, Nancy Hart,
Nanticoke; and 13 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of
St. Ann, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover
Township, with the Rev. Joseph Streit officiating.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133
E. 3rd St., Williamsport. The family will recite the rosary at 6:30 p.m.
