Strongman champ Luke Stoltman has broken his silence after his heartbroken wife went public with cheating allegations in an explosive post on social media.

Tonight, he wrote of the 'pain' he had caused and regretted 'the mistakes that I have made'.

The hulking Scot's partner Kushi, 31, has accused him of having trysts with a woman powerlifter while their child was unwell.

In a post on Instagram , Luke wrote: 'I want to acknowledge the pain caused to my family, friends and community by recent social media and news.

'I regret the mistakes that I have made and the impact they've had, especially on my family, Kushi and my son, who is my world.

'While not everything shared is true, I want to be clear that I was with my son in hospital.

'I am committed to acting responsibly and rebuilding the trust of those who feel let let down.

'I am deeply grateful for those who continue to support me, and my focus remains on caring for my son and supporting those affected by the situation.

'I respectfully ask for privacy for my family as we navigate this matter together.'

In a heartfelt post on her Instagram story, Kushi claimed that her husband has been having liaisons with a fellow competitor.

The mum said she was 'heartbroken and devastated', later adding that the whole situation has been 'extremely traumatic' for her.

The cheating allegations come after the couple finally welcomed their first child after years of fertility treatment.

Kushi previously wrote on Instagram: 'I thought my world was complete going through so much heartache to get my beautiful baby boy and finally get pregnant and getting that happily ever after I've always wanted with my husband after trying for so many years.

'Our son is 9 months old now and this weekend after our son has been in hospital so sick and Luke refusing to come and see him in hospital because he was with another woman behind my back.

'I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated that someone could be so cruel and nasty. He is not the man he portrays himself to be.

'Thank you very much Luke Stoltman... for torturing me. I have no idea how people in this world can be so cruel.'

She added: 'I am absolutely heartbroken and what I have been put through is unforgivable.

'My whole world has been turned upside down and I need to try and rebuild a new life for us and be the best mother I can be for my child.

'People can portray themselves a certain way publicly but their true colours always show in the end.

'No I have not been hacked and I am so devastated how a man can put his family through this.'

Later she revealed that she has been 'overwhelmed' by the support she has received over the last few days.

As part of the process, she said this would involve deactivating her account to get some space.

Kushi posted: 'Overwhelmed with the amount of support I have received the last few days, it means so much.

'Each and every one of your messages has brought me some sort of comfort.

Luke has won the national title of Europe's Strongest Man five times.

Nicknamed the Highland Oak, he is the older brother of current World's Strongest Man Tom, 30.

It comes as heartbroken Kushi Stoltmam named Canadian athlete Melissa Peacock as her husband's mistress.

Kushi accused her husband and Melissa, 28, of 'torturing' her by having an affair while they were away competing at tournaments.

The 5ft 5in heavily tattooed Peacock has made a name for herself on the international powerlifting circuit and came to the attention of fans when she was able to deadlift 550lbs.

She has also been able to pull a half ton pick up truck from a standing start and won a bronze medal in the World's Ultimate Strongman contest in 2021.

Peacock, who is from Regina in Saskatchewan in Canada, has not responded to being named by Stoltman's wife.

Most recently the 5ft 5in tall powerlifter and Stoltman, 39, competed at the Rogue Invitational tournament held in Aberdeen. He finished 5th in the competition while Peacock was placed 10th in the women's event.

The blonde 275lb athlete is something of a minor celebrity in her hometown with the local media following her exploits on the powerlifting circuit.
