Evansville man found guilty in death of one-month-old

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville man has been found guilty in the death of his one-month-old child's death.
Court documents show Samuel Womack was found guilty of neglect of a dependent resulting in death. His sentencing is scheduled for November 20.
Police say Womack called 911 on Mach 12 saying his baby was unresponsive with blood coming from their mouth and nose. Police say the baby died later at a hospital. Detectives found Womack's statements throughout the investigation inconsistent and arrested him a month later.
