Exes Christina Haack and Ant Anstead Spotted Together for the First Time Filming New HGTV Series: PHOTOS

Christina Haack (formerly Hall) and Ant Anstead are keeping HGTV fans on their toes!

The Christina on the Coast star, 41, and British automotive expert and TV host, 45, were spotted filming Christina's upcoming HGTV series The Flip Off together on Thursday, Nov. 7 in Los Angeles.

A source told PEOPLE earlier on Thursday that Anstead would be appearing on the show after Christina previously joked about him replacing her estranged third husband Josh Hall .

In one of the photos, Christina appears to be chatting with her second ex-husband as he returns her gaze with a big smile.

Additional frames show Anstead arriving on set before meeting with Christina and various crew members.

The Flip Off, which was first announced in May 2024, is set to star Christina, her first husband Tarek El Moussa and Tarek's current wife Heather Rae El Moussa.

Josh Hall was also supposed to be part of series, which would've seen the two couples face off in a house-flipping competition, before he and Christina split in July .

An insider previously confirmed that Christina had returned to filming without Josh following the separation. It remains unclear what role, if any, the formerly Austin-based real estate professional will have in the series.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, a source told PEOPLE that Anstead would be making an appearance on the show . "Ant is going to appear on the show, but he won't be Christina's partner," the source said.

The news came after Christina had previously joked that it would be "genius" to replace Josh with her second husband in the compeition . However, she later clarified that she " can't work with anymore exes " as she's already starring alongside Tarek.

Anstead's exact role on the show, which is slated to premiere in early 2025, is also currently unknown. PEOPLE reached out to HGTV for comment but has not received a reply.

Christina and Anstead have seemingly been making amends of late after a bitter divorce and custody battle .

The exes, who were married from 2018 to 2021, share a 5-year-old son, Hudson.

Christina recently shared how it was their son who inspired her to get on better terms with Anstead. She explained to Backgrid in August that she felt like Hudson "deserves to have us get along."

The pair have since been engaging in a number of friendly exchanges on social media, and even re-followed one another on Instagram .

Along with Hudson, Christina shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, with Tarek. Ant has two older children from his first marriage: Amelie, 21, and Archie, 17.

While Christina's friendship with Anstead continues to evolve, her divorce proceedings with her third husband are ongoing.

After nearly three years of marriage , Josh filed for divorce on July 15 citing " irreconcilable differences " and requesting spousal support from Christina. The HGTV star's own legal filing on July 24 requested neither party be allowed to ask for spousal support.
