Exeter Township Junior High presents 'The SpongeBob Musical'

All payments by families must be made with a credit card. We will send a proof of the completed obituary before we require payment. The obituary cannot run, however, until we receive payment in full.

Obituaries can be submitted for any future date, but they must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. the day prior to its running for it to be published.

Exeter Township Junior High School's auditorium will be transformed into Bikini Bottom in this year's musical production of "The SpongeBob Musical ," playing on Nov. 15 and 16.

Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing dynamic stage show. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!

Featuring original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, They Might Be Giants, and more, "SpongeBob" will delight audiences with its irresistible characters and magical music, sure to make a splash with audiences young and old.

Exeter Township Junior High School's SpongeBob cast includes Kevin Speakman as Plankton, Colette Jordan as Karen, Maddy Bender as Spongebob, Maddie Mell as Patrick Star, Lillian McCord as Sandy Cheeks, Audrey Bokosky as Mr. Krabs, Harper Kozuch as Pearl, and Hakim Tounsi as Squidward.

The musical will be performed on Nov. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. at Exeter Township Junior High School, 151 East 39th St., Reading. Purchase tickets in advance for $8 online at or $10 at the door.
