Expert breaks down national security, international concerns with second Trump presidency
Donald Trump will return to Capitol Hill for a second presidential term after stating much of his case for re-election on national security-related issues. However, Trump's return seemingly caused much concern on the international level.
During NATO's Summit in D.C., for the possibility as Trump had previously expressed frustrations with the organization. Trump's actions also raised concerns that he would try to remove the U.S. from the military alliance, or at least heavily reduce the U.S.' role.
Meanwhile, other countries are preparing for any and all possibilities, with numerous other international governmental bodies expected to convene on Thursday.
