Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers WR struggles with new team for second straight game

J.Wright36 min ago
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson had zero targets in his first game with the Baltimore Ravens. However, his second game with the Ravens was worse than the first game. In both targets that went his way, Johnson struggled.

Just before the half, Johnson caught a pass in bounds that would have allowed the team to set up for a long field goal with Justin Tucker. However, Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton tackled Johnson before he could get out of bounds, ending the half before the Ravens could get a field goal attempt going.

Then, on his second target, Johnson changed directions to follow Lamar Jackson on a scramble drill. When Jackson targeted him, Johnson slipped on the grass and fell to the ground. The pass fell incomplete.

It was not the second game that Johnson was hoping to have with the Ravens after his trade from the Carolina Panthers. However, he will get a chance to get some revenge against the Steelers next week when they come to Pittsburgh.
