Ex-Teacher Charged Again With Harassment In Camden Co. Scott Nalick was arrested in April after a series of harassing incidents, police said. He's now accused of violating his jail release terms.

BERLIN, NJ — A former teacher who was arrested months ago on Berlin school grounds was jailed again Monday after new harassment allegations, authorities said.

Scott Nalick, a former Berlin Community School educator, was first charged in April after a series of harassing incidents targeting staff and members of the school community, police said.

Nalick, 38, of Marlton, was arrested again Monday after he was charged with fourth-degree cyber harassment and harassment, a disorderly persons offense. He was placed in the Camden County Jail on a warrant, pending a detention hearing.

Investigators found that Nalick contacted members of the Berlin Community School and other community members, which violated the release conditions from his prior arrest, police said.

In April, Nalick was charged with altering government computer documents (second-degree), cyber harassment (fourth-degree), criminal trespass (fourth-degree) and harassment (disorderly persons offense).

April's events unfolded after Berlin Community School placed Nalick on administrative leave. His key fob, ID and access to the school network were de-activated, and a school resource officer escorted him off the property.

Later that day, Nalick created several "concerning" social media posts and online messages directed toward students, parents and staff, authorities said. As a result, Evesham police conducted a well-being check at his Marlton home.

Nalick was advised to cease all contact with Berlin Community School, including staff, students and associates.

Later that evening, Nalick drove to the home of a school employee, who lives outside of Berlin, police said. He harassed them before leaving the scene, police said.

After hearing about the incident at an employee's home, police conducted extra patrols around the school in case Nalick showed up. He did so shortly after and got arrested.

Police increased their patrols at Berlin Community School out of caution.

Berlin Community School teaches pre-K through eighth grade.
