Bill Gilligan recently recorded a hole in one on the second hole of the
Hollenback Golf Club. Annette Frantz witnessed the 7-wood shot to the


Scott Emerick, a junior wrestler from Coughlin High School, will represent
Pennsylvania in the Freestyle Wrestling National Championships in Fargo, N.D.

Emerick won a spot by finishing third at the Pennsylvania State Freestyle
Championships in the 103.5-pound weight class.

To help defray the costs, Emerick is looking for local sponsorship. If

Christine Kansky of Wright Township and partner Kelly Kirkpatrick of Villanova
recently won the doubles title of the U.S. Tennis Association Middle States


The duo beat Alexis Jacobi and Angela Dipastina, of Princeton, N.J., 6-2,

Kansky, a Crestwood student, also placed third in the singles division.
That finish qualified her for the national clay court and hardcourt
championships this summer.
