The Denver Broncos host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday with both teams looking to bounce back from disappointing Week 10 losses.

Sportsbooks favor the Broncos in this one as Denver sits as 2.5-point favorites ahead of Sunday's game. The over/under for the game is 44 points.

Note:

NFL Week 11 Falcons vs. Broncos predictions and best bets
  • Broncos under 23.5 total points: -113 at FanDuel
  • Bo Nix over 19.5 completions: -115 at DraftKings
  • Kyle Pitts over 44.5 receiving yards: -110 at bet365
  • The Broncos have scored 23 or more points this season only four times. Three of those times came against bottom-five defenses in points allowed. The other time came against New Orleans, which ranks ninth-worst in that category and was starting rookie QB Spencer Rattler.

The Falcons' defense isn't dominant, but it's in the below-average tier of units. Against an underwhelming Broncos attack, this projects to be a low-scoring affair. Thus, Denver goes under 23.5 points.

Rookie QB Bo Nix is starting to build up opportunities, with an average of just under 32 pass attempts per game in his last five outings. Going against an Atlanta team that allows a league-highest completion percentage (70.3%), Nix should be able to capitalize.

The Atlanta Falcons have been one of the more efficient passing offenses in the league, but they'll have a tough draw against the Broncos' secondary. However, Denver has allowed the sixth-most receptions to tight ends across the NFL.

With London going against Patrick Surtain and Darnell Mooney nursing an Achilles injury, expect Pitts to get fed plenty Sunday. With a yardage prop he's outperformed in five of his last six games, expect Kirk Cousins to feed him plenty this week.

A blocked field goal away from upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs, many are keeping an eye on the Denver Broncos. Despite low expectations to start the season, the team has outperformed expectations and is 5-5 and in the playoff hunt.

The bread and butter of this team is the defensive unit. Denver ranks fourth in points allowed and first in yards averaged per play. The Broncos' dominance can help stifle the opposing team and turn the game in their favor.

Questions remain offensively, but Nix's progression is encouraging. He has improved from week to week and should be able to produce as needed in the passing game.

An interesting storyline will be fellow rookie Audric Estime's apparent hold on the Broncos' lead running back role. The big bruiser can churn out yardage and may help this offense continue to build on its grind-it-out identity.

If both elements of the offense are clicking against Atlanta, the Broncos will be poised for 6-5.

Despite being 6-4 and leading the NFC South, many question the Falcons heading into Week 11. Coming off a 20-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints, going on the road to face the Broncos will be a difficult way for them to get their bounce-back victory.

Offensively, the team has shown flashes, ranking in the top five in total yards per game. However, the Falcons have struggled to capitalize on that production, as their scoring rank is tied for 13th in the NFL.

Against a Denver secondary featuring one of the league's top cornerbacks in Surtain, QB Kirk Cousins will have to find ways to effectively spread the ball around to drive this offense down the field.

That will be crucial, as keeping Nix out of rhythm could go a long way in winning the battle of field position. However, the Falcons' front seven will need to improve, as the team has struggled to generate a pass rush with a league-low nine sacks.

If the defense can step up, and the offense can do a better job of finishing drives, then the Falcons are the clear favorite. However, that's easier said than done, especially on the road in Mile High City.
