FBI releases image of person wanted in Davie bank robbery

The FBI shared a surveillance image Tuesday of the individual wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Davie earlier in the day.
The incident took place shortly after 1:30 p.m. when a robber went into the PNC Bank branch on South University Drive and demanded money, the federal agency explained. Its statement did not indicate whether the person claimed to have a weapon.
After the bank employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the robber took off. No information was available as to what direction the person headed. No description of the individual was provided in the statement as well.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI's Miami office at 754-703-2000.
