CLEVELAND (WJW) – Monday was the 6th consecutive day in Cleveland with a high temperatures at or above 80 degrees, and the 9th day this month with a high temperature at or above 80 degrees. Cleveland averages between 8 and 9 days above 80 in September.

We might forget about the big cool down we had at the start of the month:

Mostly cloudy with a few breaks of clear skies tonight. Temperatures will stay mild, in the 70s and eventually the low 60s by tomorrow morning. Quiet night.

Cloud coverage sticks around tomorrow. Mostly cloudy with some breaks of sunshine. Temperatures will be on the cooler side, upper 70s. A few showers during the afternoon and evening but most places will remain dry.

Rest of the week remains dry. Weak cold front approaches early next week. Small chance for showers.

The 80s will not be gone long. Highs on Friday will be back up to near 80 degrees.

This weekend we will say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. From this distance, it looks like it is going to be sunny and warm for the Browns game against the Giants this weekend. Here's the latest 8-Day Forecast:
