Fight escalates on bus, leads to shooting at Metro bus stop in Seat Pleasant: Police

A fight on a Metro bus ended with a shooting off the bus, at the Addison Road bus bay in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, according to the Metro Transit Police Department.
On Wednesday night, five or six people got into a fight before boarding on a Metro bus, and the fight continued to escalate on the bus, officials said. After around 90 seconds, officials said the people exited the bus and one shot was fired. Police responded to the shooting at the bus bay at around 9:15 p.m.
One of the people involved was injured and taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said. Another person had a broken arm, officials said.
The bus bay remains closed, officials said, as they continue their investigation.
