'Fire Country' Fans, See Jared Padalecki and Max Thieriot in an Exclusive First Look

Well, folks, it's officially here. Jared Padalecki is guest starring on Fire Country season 3, and he is ready to make quite a splash in Edgewater.

The Supernatural alum's highly-anticipated appearance on the CBS drama has been in the works for some time, with folks knowing his character Camden Casey will make a difference in how Bode Leone ( Max Thieriot ) feels about being a firefighter. Well, Good Housekeeping's exclusive clip definitely has that theme in mind. Folks can watch the duo in an emotional conversation ahead of the fifth episode (titled "Edgewater's About to Get Real Cozy") airing Friday, November 15 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

After Bode and Camden (who, by the way, is his new boss) become integral to a rescue mission involving an emergency airplane landing, the two are seen debriefing at what appears to be the Cal Fire station warehouse. As Camden gives Bode props for thinking on his feet during his phase 3 firefighter training, the conversation quickly turns to Camden recognizing Bode's passion and talent for it. While Bode claims it's no big deal given his past, Camden doesn't see it that way.

"They see who you were," Camden tells Bode. "Me — fresh eyes. I see who you are. I see a man with instincts, and good ones. Pay attention to them. That's how you will help people."

But that's not all Camden had to say about Bode. After emotionally revealing his involvement in a previous fire tragedy, Camden commended Bode for doing what he feels is right — something he wished he'd done in the past.

"I saw you today, at the plane. You didn't follow procedure, and it worked. You moved without hesitation, and you were right. So, you wanna know what I see? I see a man who wants to take the biggest swings — and you should."

While folks will need to tune in to see how this important pep talk came to be, they're already excited to see Jared onscreen in this unique way. "OMG! Jared on fire country. Love it ," one person wrote in response to an episode promo on YouTube . "Man, I already love Jared's character. He seems like he won't take any s*** from anyone. This is awesome ," another declared. "Can't wait to see Jared ," a different follower added.

As for how Max feels about Jared's character's influence on Bode, he shared how excited he is to see their bond explored throughout the season. But he teased that it doesn't come without some hiccups along the way.

"Bode and Camden both have this lone wolf alpha mentality and this willingness to put others before themselves," Max told Good Housekeeping via email. "The thing that Camden realizes is that sometimes you have to embrace the strengths you have, even if they are not the typical way of handling things. I think because they are so similar they are drawn to each other, but at the same time they kind of butt heads a little bit because they are so similar."

Well, this definitely has us intrigued for what's to come!
