Fire rescue crew responded to structure fire in Walton County

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Walton County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in the Villa Tasso community on Saturday.

According to officials, the fire happened just before 7 p.m. Firefighters were dispatched to a home on County Line Road following a 911 call reporting a fire in the backyard spreading toward the home.

Upon arrival, crews said they found a shed fully engulfed in flames, extending to the single-story home.

Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, preventing further damage.

No injuries were reported.

The State Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause of the fire and the American Red Cross is providing assistance to the homeowner.
