Firefighters respond to blaze at Montezuma home

Personnel from multiple fire departments dealt with a blaze at a residence in the town of Montezuma on Friday morning.
A call came in at 1:55 a.m. about a fire at 1025 Route 31, Cayuga County 911 told The Citizen.
Fire departments from Montezuma, Aurelius, Cayuga, Conquest, Jordan, Port Byron, Savannah, Union Springs and Weedsport were all at the scene, in addition to Auburn City Ambulance and the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office.
Further information about the fire was not available.
