Fireworks suspected in sparking 3-home blaze: Cleveland Fire

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - 19 News crews are on the scene of a fire that damaged three homes on Cleveland's East Side.

Cleveland Fire received calls around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning of a fire on East 123rd Street and Osceola Avenue.

According to Cleveland Fire, it took about two hours to battle the flames.

Cleveland Fire reported no serious injuries or hospital transports.

The resident who lives on the first floor was accounted for, but Cleveland Fire believes the resident who lives on the second floor was not home at the time of the fire.

The home, where the fire originated, was deemed a total loss by Cleveland Fire.

One of the neighboring homes had damage to its attic and the other had damage to the siding.

Cleveland Fire and Police are investigating fireworks as a potential cause of this fire.
