FIRST ALERT TRAFFIC: St. Joe Road intersection now temporary all-way stop after crash damages traffic signal

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The City of Fort Wayne's Public Works Division says drivers can expect a temporary all-way stop along St. Joe Road after a traffic signal was damaged in a crash earlier this week. The department says the traffic signal at the intersection of St. Joe Road and Canterbury Boulevard, near Canterbury Green Apartments, was left inoperable after a vehicle crashed into it on Monday, Nov. 11. Now through the week of Nov. 18, city leaders say the intersection will operate as a temporary all-way stop. They say drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route until the signal is functioning again. "We thank residents for their patience and understanding," the department wrote in a press release.
