RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Reigning Summit League regular season and tournament champion South Dakota State will face Northern Colorado inside Summit Arena at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, in a non-conference matchup.

The matchup, first of its kind in Rapid City, and the sports commission has worked hard to bring more sports entertainment to our area. The game will allow SDSU to show their fans on this side of the state the talent that the team holds, while also bringing recruiting opportunities to athletes in the area.

The contest pits two opponents who will meet geographically at the midpoint between each of their campuses. South Dakota State sits nearly 400 miles east of Rapid City in Brookings, while the Northern Colorado campus in Greeley is approximately 350 miles south of the Black Hills region.

It is a family-friendly event, and The Monument and the Rapid City Sports Commission hope to see more events like this come to the area in the future.

You can get tickets to the game at The Monument.com.
