Five more people have been arrested and charged in connection with football-related disorder in Edinburgh City Centre. Two men aged 19, an 18-year-old and a 24-year-old along with a 16-year-old youth were charged over incidents in St Andrew Square after the Scottish Premiership match between Hibernian and Motherwell on 5 October. Police Scotland said violence had been directed towards officers following the game at Easter Road. The five have been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date, while the force said football banning orders were being sought. It brings the total number of people charged over disorder relating to the match to 14, all aged between 16 and 32. Ch Insp Craig Rogerson said: "Officers work hard to create a safe environment not just at football matches but also after the event. "These arrests send a strong message that we will not tolerate football related disorder in any form."
