FLAG FOOTBALL: Dothan earns first playoff win; Carroll falls

After unsuccessful postseason appearances in the first three seasons, the Dothan Wolves flag football team finally earned a playoff win on Monday, edging Brookwood 7-0 in a defense dual at Brookwood.
With the win, the Wolves (13-3) advance to next week's second round in the Class 6A-7A playoffs and will play at Alma Bryant, which beat Smiths Station 27-12 on Monday.
Montgomery Catholic 34, Carroll 0: Carroll's season came to an end with a 34-0 loss to Montgomery Catholic in a Class 1A-5A first-round playoff game in Montgomery.
Carroll finishes the season with a 3-15 record.
