Fleury Makes 31 Saves In Penguins’ Win
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Whitney and Jordan Staal each had a goal and assist, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves in Pittsburgh Penguins’ 4-2 victory over Buffalo Sabres Friday night.
Dominic Moore also scored for the Penguins, who snapped a five-game losing streak to Buffalo while extending their overall winning streak to three games.
The Penguins won in Buffalo for the first time since November 2003.
Coyotes 5, Thrashers 4
ATLANTA — Yanic Perreault scored 2:29 into overtime and Phoenix rallied from a three-goal deficit to beat Atlanta.
Shane Doan scored two goals, including one in the Coyotes’ three-goal third period. Phoenix, which trailed 4-1 early in the third, forced overtime with goals by Ladislav Nagy, Doan and Owen Nolan.
Predators 8, Blackhawks 3
CHICAGO — Paul Kariya had a goal and three assists, and Scott Hartnell scored twice for Nashville.
