lorence Joanne Davis, of Augusta Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.



Born March 14, 1943 in Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the former
Florence (Guistino) Evans and the late David Evans. He was a 1961 graduate of
Coughlin High School. She formerly worked for Pomeroy’s Department Store and
for the past 23 years, worked for the Social Security Administration,
Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving are her son, David E. Sandy, Larksville; one granddaughter;
sister, Barbara E. Pascavage, Wilkes-Barre; one niece and one nephew.



The funeral will be held Tuesday from the Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59
Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, at a time to be announced. Interment will be in Oak
Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home.
