Florida man accused of stabbing brother in neck for ‘talking over’ food while cooking
MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A Miami man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stabbed his brother in the neck for "talking over" the food while he was cooking.
Alexander Rodriguez, 20, stabbed his brother with a kitchen knife at their Miami home after the two got into an argument, an arrest report said.

The brother took off to a bedroom, as Rodriguez followed behind, slicing his arm and face, the report said
When police and fire rescue arrived at the home, the brother was covering his stab wounds with clothing, according to officials. He was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Rodriguez fled from the home and was found hiding in a nearby tree after police set up a perimeter. He was then taken into custody.

When detectives interviewed Rodriguez, he told them he got irritated when his brother was "talking over the food." He added that he thought his brother was going for the knife because of the "attitude" his brother had.
According to Miami-Dade jail records, Rodriguez was booked into jail Thursday morning on charges of attempted felony murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
