Food Bank for the Heartland announces the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors Janel Allen Paul Cech Food Bank for the Heartland announces Janel Allen, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Children's Nebraska to its board. With a focus on leading the organization's human resources strategy, Janel is instrumental in driving initiatives centered around organizational transformation, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and brand management. The Food Bank also welcomes Paul Cech, COO of Woodhouse Auto Family, to the board. In his role, Paul is involved in all the business activities of the organization and assists in the global management of the entire Woodhouse Auto Family. "These individuals were thoughtfully selected for their expertise, community leadership and passion for creating food-secure communities. As the Food Bank enters the public phase of its capital campaign for our new facility while navigating an increased need with fewer resources, their perspective will be invaluable," said Food Bank for the Heartland President and CEO Brian Barks. "We are eager to utilize their combined skillsets to better serve Heartland neighbors in need and strategically increase efficiencies across our organization."
