FRANKFORT, IL — Todd Morgan, who previously served as a Village of Frankfort Trustee for 14 years, has announced his decision to seek reelection.

"The Village of Frankfort holds a special place in my heart," Morgan said in a release. "I've lived here for over 30 years and raised three children who benefited from all the wonderful things Frankfort has to offer—strong schools, beautiful parks, family-friendly neighborhoods, a safe and nurturing environment, and that unique small-town charm."

Morgan was first elected as a trustee in 2000, and served 14 years when he was reelected four times.

During his tenure, he worked closely with two former mayors, the late Mayor Ray Rossi and former Mayor Jim Holland, gaining invaluable insights from both, according to a release.

"During my time in office, Frankfort experienced its fastest growth in history. We saw over 200 new homes built each year, along with vibrant business development, expanding road infrastructure, downtown revitalization, and the growth of our police and public works departments to meet the needs of our growing community."

Reflecting on his time in office, Morgan expressed pride in what was achieved.

"I'm extremely proud of what we accomplished. I had the privilege of working with an incredible team—fellow trustees, village staff, police, and public works employees—who all shared the same vision: to make Frankfort the best it can be."

However, as he looks ahead, he believes there is still work to be done.

"When I look around the village today, I see areas where my experience can help. In recent years, I feel Frankfort has missed key opportunities for quality development that other communities have successfully attracted. This is why I believe my leadership is needed now more than ever."

Morgan's campaign is driven by his commitment to smart downtown development, maintaining quality parks, ensuring community safety, fostering transparent government, encouraging public involvement, beautifying the community, and keeping taxes in check, according to a release.

"My focus is on delivering quality in every aspect of our village."

"I've always taught my children that there's a big difference between saying something and doing it," he added. "As a former trustee, my record reflects numerous proven accomplishments that were once just goals for our community."
