Four adults displaced after kitchen fire in Norfolk home

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Four adults were displaced from their home on Fremont Street after a kitchen fire on Saturday evening. At approximately 9:50 p.m., Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to a report of a residential fire at 935 Fremont Street. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the two-story house. They entered with an attack hose line and found fire in the kitchen. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before spreading and fire control was called at around 10:15 p.m. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
