rances A. Sharpless, 88, of Nazareth, formerly of Wilkes-Barre’s Heights
section, Harrisburg and Easton, died Tuesday at Gracedale Nursing Home,
Nazareth.



Born Nov. 20, 1912, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Charles
and Frances (Kabulis) Shergalis. She worked for Pennsylvania Mutual Insurance
Co. for 15 years. She was a member of the Lithuanian Club, Lehigh Valley, and
Holy Trinity Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bonsall; sisters, Margaret
Fasulka and Jule Majikas; and brother Joseph.

Surviving are her son, Dr. Richard Edward, Easton; one grandson; one
granddaughter; and one great-grandson.



The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the John W. Frank Funeral
Home, 124 S. Grant St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11
a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, East South Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Rev.
Theodore L. Obaza will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery,
Bear Creek. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral
home.
