rank A. Cerullo, 88, of East 10th Street, Berwick, died Monday at the
Berwick Retirement Village II, where he resided for 18 months.



Born Nov. 28, 1911, he was a son of the late Antonio and Josephine (Ciampi)
Cerullo. He attended Berwick schools, was a painter and blacksmith’s helper at
the former Trescott Wagon & Body Works, Berwick, a partner in the former
Penn-Jacquard Co. and worked for the Mayo Funeral Home, Berwick. He was a
member of St. Joseph Church, Berwick, and Berwick Unico and life member of the
Berwick Elks Club.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, the former Mary Pasak; sons, Frank A.,
Jr., Wapwallopen RD, Conyngham Township; and Leonard J., Highspire; three
grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard S., Bernard A.,
John M., Joseph J. and Anthony R., all of Berwick; and sisters, Phillis
Libassi, Scranton; and Caroline Vinciguerra, Berwick.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary.



Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Mayo Funeral Home,
Inc., 2nd and Chestnut streets, Berwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10
a.m. at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Dennis G. Dalessandro officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Berwick. Friends may call from 6 to 9
p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to
Columbia-Montour Home Hospice, 599 E. Seventh St., Bloomsburg, 17815. Vigil
Services will be at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
