Free expo Sunday in Independence to connect those with development disabilities with caregivers and resources

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio – More than 80 agencies and independent providers will be on hand Sunday for a free one-day expo to help people with developmental disabilities find caregivers and connect with resources. The program is organized by the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. People qualified to receive services from county Developmental Disabilities may attend the expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South on Rockside Road in Independence. It's described as a one-stop opportunity to find a variety of providers and resources. The expo will also include opportunities for fun, with a photobooth, face painting, balloon animals, caricature drawings, chair massage, raffle prizes and food.
