Fremont Area Art Association art classes to focus on sparkling holiday ornaments
The Fremont Area Art Association will be offering two sparkling ornaments art classes — one for kids and one for adults. The instructor for both classes will be Mara Hornig.
The children's art class, Celebrate Christmas Together With Sparkling Ornaments, will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Gallery 92 West, 92 W. Sixth St., in Fremont. This class is for ages 7-13. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Each student will create two Christmas ball ornaments using acrylic ink and glitter, and as an extra treat, a Christmas story and cookie.
Although children ages 11-13 are welcome to attend by themselves, this class is intended to be a family activity that can be shared together.
The cost of the class (all supplies included) is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Only one family member needs to belong to the FAAA to qualify for the member discount. Adults attending only as chaperones will not be charged.
A Sparkling Holiday Ornaments class for ages 14 and over will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Gallery 92 West. Each student will make two Christmas ball ornaments using acrylic ink and glitter.
The cost of the class is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. The registration deadline for both the kids and adult classes will be Sunday, Nov. 10. The class will be canceled if at least five students have not registered by this date.
