Big Red Luncheon, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fremont Eagles Club, 649 N. Main St., Fremont. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon. Steve Sipple will speak at noon. The luncheon cost of $25 covers the meal, one non-alcoholic drink and the speaker.

Community Food and Fellowship Thanksgiving Dinner, 3 p.m., Fremont First Congregational Church, 1550 N. Broad St., Fremont. The dinner will include turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, glazed carrots, collard greens, broccoli salad, corn bread, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie. Anyone who does not have Thanksgiving plans is welcome to attend.
