LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Temperatures will be closer to average for mid-November today. Saturday looks to be mild and dry. There is a good chance of rain for much of the area Sunday and Monday.

Today should be mainly sunny, cooler and not as breezy. High temperatures will range from the low 50s in Northeast Nebraska to the mid 60s in Southwest Nebraska. Winds look to be variable at 5 to 15 mph.

Saturday is going to be mostly sunny to sunny and mild. Low temperatures in the morning look to be in the mid 20s to low 30s. Afternoon high temperatures should reach the mid 60s to around 70 which is well above average for this time of the year. Winds will be south-southwest at 5 to 15 mph.

A storm system looks to impact the area Sunday and Monday. There is going to be a good chance of light to moderate rain during those days. Rainfall totals could range from around a quarter of an inch to an inch and a quarter for much of Nebraska and Northern Kansas. Low temperatures Sunday morning will be in the low 30s to low 40s with afternoon highs around 50 to 60.

The cooling trend continues Tuesday through Thanksgiving Day with temperatures below average for mid-to-late November. Those days should be dry if you are traveling in the area for the holiday.
