ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The race between Kelly Rae Kirkpatrick and Andy Friederichs comes to an end. Andy Friederichs won the race for the Ward 4 council seat with 3,279 (51.23%) votes. Friederichs provides his statement: I thank the voters for Ward 4 for placing their confidence in me. I've enjoyed knocking on doors in the neighborhoods and listening to your concerns. I will continue to listen to the people of Ward 4 and be their voice on the City Council. Thank you to my many volunteers that made this victory possible. The incumbent Ward 4 council member Kelly Rae Kirkpatrick lost the election with 3,0107 (48.28%) votes. This is what was expected - a seriously tight Ward 4 race that I may not win
