Giants injury report: Key defensive starter is a ‘concern’ for Week 10 vs. Panthers

The Giants on Friday revealed their game statuses for their Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers, which will take place in Munich, Germany on Sunday.

We already know that wide receiver Darius Slayton (concussion protocol), who did not fly with the team, will be out. That's a big loss for an offense that has struggled to move the ball of late. Jalin Hyatt will fill his spot as the No. 2 receiver.

The only other player listed as "out" on the injury report was fellow wideout Bryce Ford-Wheaton, who is dealing with an Achilles injury.

As for the rest, safety Jason Pinnock (abdomen), kicker Graham Gano (right hamstring) and linebackers Matt Adams (calf) and Darius Muasau (hamstring) were all listed as questionable.

Pinnock is a "concern for Sunday," according to coach Brian Daboll. That would be a big loss, given his starting status. Look for Dane Belton to take over for him, if need be.

Daboll added in his press conference that Gano, left tackle Chris Hubbard and punter Jamie Gillan are all "trending in the right direction" of playing.

While this game may seem like a snoozefest — both teams are 2-7 and basically guaranteed to have at least a top 10 draft pick — it could have big implications for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Of note, the Giants are favored for the first time since Week 2 of the 2023 season, so earning a win would go a long way for locker room morale.
