LINDALE, Texas (KLTV) - The Gilmer Buckeyes took a wild back-and-forth battle over Lindale, 37-36, in overtime.

Gilmer took less than a minute in the fourth quarter to tie up Lindale after Lindale had taken a 30-23 lead. The game went into overtime and Gilmer scored to take a 37-30 lead.

Lindale used a spread offense to find a wide-open receiver to score a touchdown. It appeared the game would be sent into a second OT but Lindale opted to go for two points and the win. But Gilmer's defense stepped up when it mattered an forced the quarterback to throw the ball up to a Gilmer defender to end the game.

Gilmer (2-2) travels to Brenham in Week 5. Lindale (2-2) travels to Chapel Hill.
