The 2025 Grammy Award nominations were announced Friday and New Jersey has a combination of artists and producers up for honors.

Singer, songwriter, and producer Jack Antonoff, from New Milford and Woodcliff Lake, received at least six nominations.

Antonoff, 40, is nominated twice in the Album of the Year category (for his production/co-songwriting work on "The Tortured Poets Department," with Taylor Swift , and "Short N' Sweet," with Sabrina Carpenter ) and twice in the Song of the Year category (for Taylor Swift's "Fortnight" and Sabrina Carpenter's "Please Please Please"). He is also up for Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for his work with Swift's latest album.

Antonoff has previously won Album of the Year three times, all with Swift (2016, 2021 and 2024), and Song of the Year once, as a member of his previous pop-rock band Fun (2013). He has never won a Record of the Year award.

Antonoff was curiously not nominated for the Producer of the Year category despite winning it the last three years. He has now has amassed at least 30 Grammy nominations in total and has won 11 times (his potential wins in 2025 notwithstanding).

"I love these albums and songs in the deepest ways," Antonoff wrote on X/Twitter Friday, following the announcement. "Thank you for showing them love as well. Means a great to deal to me and everyone who works so hard to bring them to life."

R&B and pop star SZA , who grew up in Maplewood, drew two nominations for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song — both for "Saturn," bringing her total nomination count to 26. Rap superstar Cardi Bwho owns a home in Tenafly, received a Best Rap Performance nomination for "Enough (Miami)."

Steven Van Zandt , a long-time member of Bruce Springsteen 's E Street Band, received a Best Music Film nomination for his documentary "Stevie Van Zandt: Disciple."

Funk legend George Clinton , who grew up in Plainfield, is nominated for Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for his book "...And Your A- Will Follow."

The 2025 Grammy Awards will air live on CBS and Paramount+ on Feb. 2 from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
