Greek Food Festival set for Oct. 4-6

A Greek Food Festival, hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 E. Ross St., Wilkes-Barre, will be held from 1 1 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily Oct. 4-6. An assortment of Greek food and pastries, including gyros, stuffed grape vine leaves, spinach pies, baklava, galaktoboureko and others will be available for eat-in or take-out purchases. Orders more than $30 will be delivered free within a two-mile radius of the church. Greek T-shirts and aprons also will be sold. Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards will be accepted for food purchases. Customers may pre-order by calling 823-4805 during festival hours or by ordering online at greekfoodfestival.webs.com.
