Grocery shoppers excited as Greenville Trader Joe’s opening draws closer

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The long-awaited grand opening for Trader Joe's in Greenville is just a day away and shoppers all around the area are excited to see what the store has to offer.

"I'm looking forward to see what's new over there and also about the price. So yeah, hopefully it's going to be like new starts here in Greenville," Lamie Gonzalez said.

Trader Joe's is known for its snacks that coordinate with the seasons of the year, getting shoppers excited just in time for the holidays.

"I'm definitely thinking like gingerbread and eggnog and stuff for the holiday season coming up. So, we'll see what they have to offer for that," Drew Nyman said.

"I'm a big gourmet shopper with coffees and certain things, so I like having something like that to go and get little specialty things, especially for birthdays and Christmas and holidays. It's nice to have," Karen Sperandiopugh said.
