Guthrie Gala raises over $363K to support emergency medicine

CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – The annual Guthrie Gala raised over $363,000 to support Guthrie's Emergency Medicine department.

The gala was held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Corning Museum of Glass, which hosted a sold-out crowd of almost 450 people for a night full of fine dining, entertainment and stories from patients who were saved by Guthrie's Emergency Medicine team, which provides care to communities in New York and Pennsylvania.

The funds raised from the event will be used to enhance Guthrie's life-saving programs, assist in the purchase of advanced medical equipment and support training for healthcare professionals who respond to critical emergencies.
